While some links to cancer have been made with saccharin, if you must use an artificial sweetener, it is best to use saccharin.

| Another Aspartame Story... |
We received this note from P.O. of Jennings, LA, concerning her use of aspartame and sucralose.
|
"For over ten years, I used aspartame-type sweeteners in the form of sodas, Jell-o, puddings, cookies, Kool-aid, Crystal Lite, and more. I had frequent recurring headaches almost from the beginning, but never made the connection. I also had a number of allergies show up during that time. In addition to that, I had trouble concentrating on even the easiest of tasks. The best way to describe it is my thoughts seemed "real foggy."
Since my discovery of Splenda, I haven't had near the headaches that occured with aspartame. I have gone from headaches every day, to maybe two or three weeks in a row without a headache. This is a major issue for me. My thoughts have returned to a much more clear way of thinking. And, I love the taste of it!
I recently tried Fiber One cereal and loved the taste (although I thought it was a little too sweet). After a few days, I noticed the foggy thinking coming back. I looked at the label and what do you know... aspartame was in the cereal. I guess I should have checked the label before buying it. I now check all labels to make sure they don't contain aspartame. I just think of it as a poison and stay clear of it. I also discourage any use of it by friends or colleagues."
Thank you P.O. for sharing your story with us.
