If you're using frozen shrimp, simply remove from packaging and immerse in cold water to thaw. Gently stir to separate shrimp as they thaw.

Chinese Garlic Shrimp
Ingredients

1 tbsp vegetable oil
3 large garlic cloves, chopped fine
1 lb medium shrimp, uncooked, peeled, and deveined
1 large carrot, shredded
2 tbsp cilantro, fresh, chopped
  • Using a wok or 12-inch skillet over medium heat, add oil to coat bottom and sides of pan.
  • Add garlic and stir-fry for 1 minute.
  • Add shrimp and stir-fry for 1 minute
  • Add carrot and stir-fry for 3 minutes.
  • Shrimp should be pink and firm when cooked.
  • Remove from heat and add cilantro.
  • Serve while hot.
