| Lemon Broiled Chicken |
Ingredients
(4 servings - 41 g protein and 8.5 g carb per serving)

| 2 pounds |
frying chicken, cut up |
| 2 whole |
lemons |
| 1/4 cup |
margarine |
| 2 tsp |
salt |
| 1/4 tsp |
pepper |
| 1 tsp |
paprika |
|
- Cut lemons in half.
- Remove skin from chicken parts.
- Rub lemons over chicken, squeezing to release juice.
- Cover and refrigerate for 3-4 hours.
- Preheat broiler or grill.
- Brush with melted margarine.
- Sprinkle with salt, pepper, and paprika.
- Broil or grill 5-7 inches from heat for 25 minutes.
- Brush occasionally with melted margarine.
- Turn chicken.
- Broil or grill for 20 minutes longer.
- Remove from heat.
- Serve while hot.
- Garnish with fresh lemon wedges, if desired.
