| Marinated Steak |
Ingredients
(4 servings - 20.5 g protein and 1 g carb per serving)
|
| 1.5 pounds |
flank steak |
| 2/3 cup |
dry red wine |
| 1 tbsp |
soy sauce |
| 1/8 tsp |
oregano |
| 1/8 tsp |
marjoram |
| 1/2 tsp |
black pepper |
|
- In deep baking dish, combine wine, soy sauce, and seasonings.
- Place steak into the dish and turn to coat.
- Cover tightly.
- Refrigerate 12-24 hours.
- Preheat broiler or gas grill.
- Remove steak from marinade.
- Place on broiler or grill rack 4 inches from heat.
- Cook 5-7 minutes on each side.
- To serve, cut thin slices of meat diagonally across the grain.
- Serve while hot or use later cold in salads.
