You can substitute boneless pork loin or loin chops for the beef in this recipe.
So... you hate mushrooms? Then leave them out! Seriously, just skip the mushrooms. Maybe you'd like to add bell pepper strips instead? Maybe you'd just like to keep it simple with gravy and onions. That's ok.
Just remember to fix recipes to your own taste.

| Mushroom and Onion Steak |
Ingredients
(4 servings - 27g protein - 10g carbohydrate per serving)

| 1 lb |
boneless sirloin steak |
| 2 cups |
fresh mushrooms (sliced) |
| 1 |
onion (thinly sliced) |
| 1 jar (12 oz) |
fat free beef gravy |
| 1 tbsp |
catsup |
| 1 tsp |
Worcestershire sauce |
| 1/2 tsp |
black pepper |
|
- Coat heavy skillet with non-stick cooking spray
- Heat over medium-high heat until spray begins to bubble.
- Add steak.
- Cook for 5 minutes on each side.
- Remove from skillet to cutting board.
- In skillet, saute mushrooms and onions until liquid is gone.
- Add gravy, catsup, Worcestershire sauce, and pepper.
- Simmer for one minute.
- Remove from heat.
- Cut steak diagonally into strips.
- Arrange steak strips on serving plates.
- Pour sauce over steak.
- Serve while hot.
