If you'd rather try this one with pork or beef, just substitute the meat for the chicken and increase cooking time slightly to cook meat through.
Replace the chicken ramen with pork or beef ramen to get the right spices for the meats.
If you'd rather use rice, prepare the rice ahead of time and just use the seasoning packet from the ramen, discarding the noodles or saving them for another time.

| Spicy Chinese Chicken and Pasta |
Ingredients

| 2 pkg (3 oz ea) |
ramen noodles with chicken flavour packet |
| 1 cup |
water |
| 1/2 cup |
pesto |
| 2 tsp |
cornstarch |
| 2 tsp |
garlic |
| 2 tsp |
chili powder |
| 1 tbsp |
vegetable oil |
| 3/4 lb |
chicken breast, boneless, skinless, cut into 1-inch pieces |
| 1 large |
carrot, shredded |
| 2 |
green onions, cut into 1-inch pieces |

- Set aside seasoning packets from noodles.
- Cook and drain noodles according to package.
- In small bowl, mix water, pesto, cornstarch, chili, garlic, and seasoning packets.
- Heat wok or 12-inch skillet over high heat.
- Add oil and coat bottom and sides of pan.
- Add chicken and stir-fry 4 minutes or until chicken turns white.
- Add carrot and onions and stir-fry for 1 minute.
- Add pesto mixture, stir well, and stir-fry for 1 minute.
- Add noodles and stir-fry for 1 minute.
- Serve hot.
