| Karate Success Story |
On 16 November 2004, we received the following story from B. of Omaha, NE:
"I've been training Okinawan karate for the past four years and have noticed marked improvements. The thing I noticed most is the reduction in pain I was experiencing. I have scoliosis. Before I started training I would consume, on average, eight Tylenol tablets a day to control my back pain. I was not overweight, I just wasn't doing any physical activity. Now, four years later, I take Tylenol on average maybe once every couple of weeks (after intense activity).
Martial arts has given me back my health. I rarely get ill. When I do get ill or injured I heal more quickly. I don't exactly know how this all works, but I do know I am happier, have more self confidence and enjoy life much more than I used to.
I would recommend martial arts to anyone who experiences pain on a regular basis."
