Melon balls are easily prepared using a melon baller, but you can always just chunk the melon into 3/4-inch cubes if you don't have a melon baller.
These kebobs go great with any type of salad. Simply skewer them onto eight short picks instead of four long picks, and arrange with salad greens. Beautiful and flavorful!!

Try serving these delightful kabobs with almost any pork dish for an exciting taste contrast.

You can also mix this recipe up easily by using red seedless grapes or replacing half the melon with papaya or mango.

Give this recipe another twist by substituting a nice rose for the white wine.

Fruit Kebobs
Ingredients
(4 servings - 54 calories per serving)
1 cup canteloupe melon balls
1 cup honeydew melon balls
1 cup strawberries, halved
1 cup white seedless grapes
1 cup dry white wine
  • In shallow baking dish, combine all fruit ingredients.
  • Pour white wine over fruit.
  • Cover dish with plastic wrap or tight-fitting lid.
  • Place in refrigerator for 1-24 hours.
  • Drain fruit and discard marinade.
  • Skewer fruit onto four wooden picks.
  • Serve while chilled.
