Mediterranean Grilled Bread
Ingredients
(6 servings - 130 calories per serving)
3 tbsp butter (softened)
3 tbsp feta cheese (crumbled)
12 slices french bread (3/4-inch slices)
3 tbsp Greek olives (chopped)
  • FOR THE GRILL:
    • Heat charcoal or gas grill to medium-high heat.
    • In small bowl, blend butter and cheese.
    • Place bread slices on grill 6 inches from heat.
    • Grill for 5 minutes.
    • Turn bread over.
    • Spread with cheese mixture.
    • Sprinkle with olives.
    • Grill for 3 minutes.
    • Serve while hot.
  • FOR THE OVEN:
    • Preheat oven to 400 degrees.
    • In small bowl, blend butter and cheese.
    • Place bread slices on ungreased cookie.
    • Spread bread slices with cheese mixture.
    • Sprinkle with olives.
    • Place on middle oven rack.
    • Bake for 10 minutes.
    • Serve while hot.
