When dieting, be sure to experiment with new spices and seasonings to keep things interesting.
When testing a new spice, set aside a small part of a regular recipe and use the new spice in it. If you like it, add it to the rest. If you don't like it, you've only wasted a small portion.
When trying out a new vegetable or fruit, purchase a little of it, then go online. Find recipes, preparation methods, and storage ideas for the new item. You'd be amazed at how varied your diet will be by the time you've lost the weight!
