Change the recipe anytime by replacing the slivered almonds with crushed walnuts, cashew pieces, or pecan halves.

If you want a sweeter salad, try replacing the lime ade with orange juice concentrate!

Low fat and delicious
California Fruit Salad
Ingredients
4 servings - 160 calories per serving
6 grams of fat per serving
1/4 cup honey
1/4 cup lime ade concentrate (thawed)
1 cup fresh strawberries (sliced)
1 cup red, seedless grapes
1 cup diced peaches
1 cup diced cantelope
2 tbsp slivered almonds
  • In mixing bowl, blend honey and lime ade concentrate.
  • Carefully toss fruits in honey mixture.
  • Sprinkle with almonds.
  • Cover.
  • Refrigerate at least 30 minutes.
  • Serve cold.
