Cucumber forms  a light, tasty base for this low-cal veggie dip.
If you prefer, substitute ground ginger for the garlic powder for a completely different taste.

You can also liven up this recipe by adding 1/4 cup shredded carrots, minced fine, to this recipe.

Low fat and delicious
Cucumber Yogurt Dip
Ingredients
7 servings - 27 calories per serving
0.6 grams of fat per serving
1 large cucumber
8 oz lowfat plain yogurt
1/4 tsp garlic powder
1/2 tsp Worcestershire sauce
  • Grate cucumber with skin on.
  • Pat cucumber gratings nearly dry using paper towels.
  • In mixing bowl, combine all ingredients.
  • Fold together until well-blended.
  • Serve with a variety of vegetables (i.e. broccoli flowerets, cauliflower flowerets, celery, carrot sticks, tomato wedges)
