The calorie count in this recipe is for the dip alone. Be careful what you dip into it or you'll be eating way more calories than you'd like.
You can use low-fat cream cheese to save some calories.
To be sure you don't overdo it, put dip into individual bowls surrounded by fresh veggies or low-cal baked chips to keep portions under control.

Ingredients

canned garbanzo beans (drained) |
| 8 ounces |
canned blackeyed peas (drained) |
| 4 ounces |
cream cheese (softened) |
| 1/2 cup |
mild roasted red peppers |
| 1/2 tsp |
salt |
| 1/2 tsp |
black pepper |
| 1/2 tsp |
garlic powder |

- Rinse and drain beans.
- Combine all ingredients in blender.
- Blend until well combined.
- Empty contents into serving dish.
- Serve chilled with chips, crackers, or vegetables.
