Margarita pie is ideal for entertaining, gift-giving, or bake sales.  It is elegant and delicious, and fits into any low-cal diet plan.
To speed up prep time, try using one of the pre-made graham cracker crusts.

You can also skip the tequila if you really don't like it.

Ice milk is now available in fat free and sugar free varieties to help you keep calories in check.

Note this pie is cut into eight pieces to maintain portion size.

Low fat and delicious
Margarita Pie
Ingredients
8 servings - 210 calories per serving
3g of fat per serving
1 cup graham cracker crumbs (12 squares)
3 tbsp powdered sugar
1/4 cup frozen margarita concentrate (thawed)
1 pint lime sherbet (softened)
1/3 cup frozen margarita concentrate (thawed)
3 tbsp tequila
1 pint vanilla ice milk (softened)
  • In medium mixing bowl, combine graham cracker crumbs and powdered sugar.
  • Stir in 1/4 cup margarita mix and blend until mixture is crumbly.
  • Press mixture firmly against the bottom and sides of a 9-inch pie plate.
  • In medium mixing bowl, combine 1/3 cup margarita mix and tequila.
  • Gently swirl in ice milk.
  • Spoon mixture into crust.
  • Spread evenly.
  • Cover and freeze for 4-6 hours or until firm.
  • Tip: Dip knife in hot water to make slicing easier.
