You can substitute black olives for Greeks, if you prefer.

You can substitute one of the heart-healthy butter spreads for the butter in this recipe.
Serve this with a crisp green salad and a dry white wine and you have a fabulous lunch. Add some cooked chicken breast strips seasoned with a sprinkling of orange juice and it's a meal!

| Mediterranean Grilled Bread |
Ingredients
6 servings - 130 calories per serving
8 grams of fat per serving

| 3 tbsp |
butter (softened) |
| 3 tbsp |
feta cheese (crumbled) |
| 12 slices |
french bread (3/4-inch slices) |
| 3 tbsp |
Greek olives (chopped) |

- FOR THE GRILL:
- Heat charcoal or gas grill to medium-high heat.
- In small bowl, blend butter and cheese.
- Place bread slices on grill 6 inches from heat.
- Grill for 5 minutes.
- Turn bread over.
- Spread with cheese mixture.
- Sprinkle with olives.
- Grill for 3 minutes.
- Serve while hot.
- FOR THE OVEN:
- Preheat oven to 400 degrees.
- In small bowl, blend butter and cheese.
- Place bread slices on ungreased cookie.
- Spread bread slices with cheese mixture.
- Sprinkle with olives.
- Place on middle oven rack.
- Bake for 10 minutes.
- Serve while hot.
