| Spiced Chocolate Florentines |
Ingredients
24 cookies (1 cookie per serving) - 125 calories per serving
9g fat per cookie

| 3/4 cup |
whipping cream |
| 4 tbsp |
butter or margerine |
| 3/4 cup |
sugar |
| 1-3/4 cup |
walnuts (finely chopped) |
| 1/2 cup |
all-purpose flour |
| 1/4 tsp |
nutmeg (grated) |
| 1/4 tsp |
cloves (ground) |
| 1/2 tsp |
cinnamon |
| 4 oz |
semisweet chocolate bits or chips |

- Heat oven to 350 degrees.
- In saucepan, combine cream, butter, and sugar.
- Bring to a boil, stirring until sugar dissolves.
- Remove from heat.
- Stir in walnuts, flour, and spices.
- Drop batter by heaping teaspoonsful onto a cookie sheet lightly sprayed with non-stick cooking spray.
- Bake for 12 minutes or until edges are well-browned.
- Cool cookies on tray for 1 minute.
- Carefully remove to rack to finish cooling for 1 hour.
- In small glass bowl, melt chocolate in microwave on medium heat for approximately 45 seconds or until fully melted.
- Spread melted chocolate on the bottom of each cookie.
- Place cookies, chocolate side up, on cooling rack until chocolate sets.
- Cookies should be stored in an air-tight container.
