"I've recently started a work-out plan and I elected to add a protein shake to my daily diet. Wow! What a terrible mistake!
Yesterday, I had diarrhea for five hours. Today, I thought maybe it was something that I ate yesterday. I had my normal granola and soy milk breakfast--what I've eaten every day for nearly two years. Everything was fine.
About three hours later, I made the protein shake with Splenda in it to control the carbs. Really bad gas and abdominal cramping since 10:00 this morning.
Splenda seems to be the cause of this!

Also, I'm still suffering the side effects. I called my doctor this morning and told her about the Splenda. She said (I'm quoting)--Take the sucralose our of your diet immediately. Don't take any more. You're not a diabetic so you don't need to worry about sugar as much. Also, tell your wife to stop taking it, too!
She mentioned my wife because my wife had a heart palpitation scare the other night.
This stuff is terrible, terrible, terrible!"
