On 18 August 2004, we received this note from C.S. of Warren, PA, concerning their use of sucralose.
|
"I think I may have had an adverse reaction to sucralose.
I had acute, sharp cramps for several minutes, now and then, but generally it was more of a diffuse abdominal discomfort. I didn't exactly have diarrhea, but I had frequent, small bowel movements over a period of several days. I generally did not "feel good" with the most definite symptom being a decrease in energy.
Originally, I thought I had a virus or something until I realized that I had similar symptoms following using sucralose several months ago, and the fact that I did not have a fever.
I felt a lot better about three days after being off it entirely."
Thank you C.S. for sharing your story with our visitors.
