On 28 October 2004, we received this note from R.R. of Orem, UT, concerning their use of sucralose.

"To whom it may concern,
My wife started using Splenda a couple of years ago. The negative effects were not noticed right away. After a while she noticed that she was having a terrible time getting to sleep at night. It took us a while to figure out what was wrong. Through trial and error we finally narrowed it down to Splenda as possibly being the cause.
She went off of it to see what would happen. Sure enough, after it cleared out of her system she no longer had any trouble going to sleep. She started eating Splenda again to see what would happen. After a few days the sleeplessness was back.
In any case, after going on and off it several times we definitely concluded, without a doubt, that Splenda is something my wife should not be eating. Don't let anyone fool you. It is NOT the same as eating sugar!"
Thank you R.R. for sharing your story with our visitors.
