Splenda - the sugar substitute you need to be wary about
On 1 November 2004, we received this note from B. concerning their use of sucralose.
"I am a thirty-eight year old female who recently started drinking Diet Rite that is made with splenda. I bought a huge bag of splenda and started using it in my oatmeal and other foods.

I have not had a migraine in years and all of a sudden I started having severe migraines. I know that sometimes foods can trigger them so I started keeping a food diary. The only thing that was common with my migraines were the use of splenda.

I recently stop using splenda. Now I know the best thing for me to do is use real sugar just decrease the amount. Now I visit the gym six days a week and I have peace of mind, my migraines are also decreasing in amount and intensity.
