On 7 November 2004, we received this note from A.M. of Perrysburg, OH, concerning their use of sucralose.

"Hello,
I was reading your site and have a related story about Splenda. I'm an occupational therapist and a trainer. I have been taking supplements since the Weider mega vitamin packs back in the 80's. Protein shakes and bars make a substantial part of my diet depending on my training habits.
I get a lot of my supplements wholesale and came across some Atkins products and some protein bars called Avid which is a peanut nugget roll. All products made with Sucralose. I had about four months worth.
After about 1 1/2 months, I started getting what I thought were headaches. After reading some of the stories I know now they were migraines. When they started becoming more consistent, I stopped taking the supplements and sure enough, the migraines disappeared.
Hope this helps."
Thank you A.M. for sharing your story with our visitors.
