| On 9 December 2004, we received this note from R.G. concerning their use of sucralose. |
| "I have been using Splenda for approximately one month. I started getting reactions right away, but I was not linking it to Splenda. My side effects were a severe muscle spasm of my upper right arm with tingling going down to my wrist. Since I have high blood pressure, I though I may possibly be having a stroke. In addition to the spasms, I also have a strange discoloration on the top of my left hand with swelling of my knuckles.
Since I have stopped the Splenda, I have had no spasms, but a light tingling is still in my arm. I am sure that as I get the chemical out of my body, all the symptoms will cease."
Thank you R.G. for sharing your story with our visitors.
