"Two Trips to the ER
I had been experiencing extreme fatigue, lightheadedness, shortness of breath, tightness in the chest, chest pains similar to angina, depression, mental aversion to things I normally like to do such as play golf, go to the movies, etc., and panic/anxiety attacks.
I thought I was having a heart attack, so I went to the ER Thanksgiving Day 2004. Heart blood enzymes and EKG were normal, so I was sent home. Same symptoms through Saturday, so I went back to the ER with the same results.
I found your website on Sunday and discontinued all Splenda use immediately.
Today is Thursday, 2 December 2004, a week after my first trip to the ER. No Splenda use this week and I just passed a cardiac treadmill test this morning. I feel much better and am definitely going to contact the FDA about these events.
"Made from sugar" almost killed me, no doubt in my mind. I am pissed!"
