On 3 February 2005, we received this note from A.R. of Charleston, WV, concerning their use of sucralose.

"When we found out that my hubby is diabetic, I started baking with Splenda. It tasted good, but I noticed I would get a mild headache after eating the baked goods.
Oddly enough, this reaction is only brought on by the Splenda granular, and not by soft drinks with Splenda. I have used Equal for years with no ill effects.
My husband has no problems and is happy to have a "sweet treat" once in a while that doesn't make his blood sugar bottom out."
