On 24 March 2005, we received this note from K.A. of Jacksonville, AR, concerning their use of sucralose.

| "I have been using Splenda for about four weeks now and I am totally satisfied. I have had no side effects of any kind. I have had side effects with other sweeteners--nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, headaches. I believe those side effects were due to allergic reaction or something. Just like with medications, not everything agrees with everyone.
I am craving chocolate chip cookies. I am considering a fat-free chocolate chip cookie recipe I found on the web and replacing the chocolate chips with unsweetened baker's chocolate and replacing the sugar with Splenda. I'll try to limit myself to 2 cookies in a 24-hour period. I wish I could find a cake and cookie recipes that are both fat-free and sugar-free. I find plenty of sugar-free and plenty of fat-free, but none that are both. I will have to experiment and hope for the best."
