On 27 February 2005, we received this note from T.B.H. of Indiana concerning their use of sucralose.
|
"I'm 6'3" and was 298 pounds. I was obviously overweight. Everyone said it was my tea drinking. I would drink two gallons of tea (or more) each day. I would boil three tea bags in a pot, have a gallon jug of 2-1/2 cups of sugar waiting on the tea to boil, then I would pour it over the sguar, stir, and finish the gallon with cold water. This was at least five cups a day of sugar going into my system.
Well, after five years of this daily ritual, I decided I was going to try that Splenda. It says it measures cup-for-cup as sugar, so I added 2-1/2 cups per gallon. Of course it took me a while to get used to it. But, after I did this 3-1/2 months ago, I am now still drinking two gallons of tea a day, but I now weigh 253 pounds. I have had not one single side effect from the change and, as you can read, I dump at least five cups of Splenda into my system each day. I am still dropping weight also.
Thank you."
