On 22 April 2004, we received this note from L.D. concerning her use of sucralose.

"I am a classic case of the Candida patient. I have been working hard to take the proper enzymes and eat the Candida diet so that I can feel better. Recently, I have been using Splenda as a sweetener in frozen dessert items and diet drinks to calm my sweet tooth.
Now, I experience dizziness and cloudy thinking. Since reviewing several stories this evening, I will stop all Splenda and see how I feel. I made two specific errors at work today and experienced definite dizziness while having a diet soda with my lunch. I will report back in a few days."
