On 6 May 2004, we received this note from J.P. of Sugar Land, TX, concerning her use of sucralose.

"I have had migraines for years. Most of them are caused by food triggers. One major trigger had been Nutrasweet (aspartame).
I was very excited when Splenda came out because I thought I would have an opportunity to start using a lot of the new low-carb products that were coming out on the market--especially ice cream. I started drinking Splenda-sweetened drinks, as well as eating Splenda-sweetened ice cream.
I did fine for about a month, then I started having daily migraines. In fact, at one point, I had an 8-day migraine. I stopped eating and drinking the products with Splenda, and, lo and behold, the migraines went away!"
Thank you J.P. for sharing your story with our visitors.
