A great way to prepare Brussels sprouts is in the microwave.
Using a microwave safe dish, put about 1/8 - 1/4 inch of water in the bottom.
Place the Brussels sprouts in the dish.
Cover the dish.
Microwave on high for five minutes.
Keep the calories low by using a sprinkle-on butter substitute in lieu of butter.
