Dried beans are a great source of Vitamin B-1.
Not just confined to the eating of lead based paint chips, lead poisoning is the number one environmental hazard facing American children.

The body keeps every bit of lead it gets.

Vitamin B-1 actually helps to decrease the accumulation of lead in both children and adults thereby reducing the negative effects of lead which can lead to brain dysfunction, nerve damage, and other neurological problems.
