Yoga is ideal for women and men of almost any age. Yoga improves breathing and overall conditioning. It improves flexibility and muscle tone.

You can work within a group at a yoga center. Most cities have them all over. Many colleges offer yoga classes, as well. Or, if you prefer to be alone while working out, try one of the dozens of yoga videos to learn the different moves and routines.

Yoga - what it is and what it can do for you
On 23 August 2004, we received the following note from S.S. of Ghaziabad, India:
"I had suffered serious back ache problems and was not able to walk more than 50-80 meters. That was two years ago.

I was subjected to exercises by therapists in Bangalore after a full body scan. I had even consulted top-raking physicians and homeopathics doctors, but could find no relief. Finally, I found yoga exercises. They were simple ones.

Today I am not able to walk and upright, but I have become a source and inspiration for my colleagues. I am now regularly doing yoga 20-30 every day and feeling fine.

I heartily recommend yoga to everyone as a way of life and enjoyable time. There is no looking back once you are on this path."
