| On 10 June 2005, we received this note from L.M. concerning their use of sucralose. |

| "I started using Splenda about three months ago to cut calories and lose weight. I increased the amount after about one month by using in my shakes, as well as buying two foods that contained Splenda. I also used them as snacks throughout the day.
I began experiencing depression, almost constant anxiety with no apparent cause, and just a sense that something was wrong all the time. It took me a month to even consider it might be the Splenda. I did a search and found numerous websites with my symptoms on them. Although I also had stomach problems, they were tolerable. The anxiety and irritability was not. I could barely function. After stopping use for three days, I feel about 80% better and I think in a few days I'll feel back to normal. Thanks for your website. It saved me a lot more problems. Splenda sucks!" Thank you L.M. for sharing your story with our visitors. |
