| On 26 May 2005, we received this note from J. of California concerning their use of sucralose. |

| "Because of a recent gain in weight, which I traced back to the increase in soda intake, I decided to change my soda drinking habits in February of this year. I switched to Diet Coke.
At first, I was drinking regular old Diet Coke until I noticed the bold red lettering that said "phenylalanine" on the can. I did some research on the web and found out it could actually cause nerve damage as well as cancer. The next time I went to the store, I started looking at all of the diet sodas to see if they all had it. Surprisingly, most did. The first I found that didn't contain phenylalanine was Diet Rite, which contained Splenda. That was late February/early March. Now, everyone is using Splenda in their diet sodas. And, in my opinion, it just tastes better. I have had absolutely zero problems and by simply switching to diet soda, I've lost almost 20 pounds. I've done nothing else different. Obviously, it won't work for everyone, but if you're like me and gain most of your weigth by drinking soda, I suggest switching." Thank you J. for sharing your story with our visitors. |

| If you have experienced any side effects, whether you are sure it is Splenda or not, be sure to speak with your physician and discuss all possibilities. . |
