Splenda Chat

Coming soon... a Splenda chatroom where you discuss the benefits and drawbacks of sucralose consumption with other Splenda users.

On 27 April 2005, we received this note from D.M. concerning their use of sucralose.
"Aspartame triggers my migraines. Not sucralose. Aspartame also triggers my Raynauds phenomenon. Splenda does not. I hope they do put Splenda in more soft drinks so I can finally stop drinking water because I'm so very tired of Diet Rite (which is about the only soft drink with sucralose)."

Thank you D.M. for sharing your story with our visitors.

Editor's Note: In the approximately seven weeks since we received this story, not only has sucralose (Splenda) stopped appearing in just Diet Rite soda, almost every type of diet soda is now available with a Splenda version or exclusively available with sucralose instead of aspartame. The progession of Splenda into almost every food and beverage market is exceptionally rapid. To find sodas that DO NOT contain Splenda, check labels for both sucralose (the generic form) and Splenda (the tradename product) as not every package has the Splenda logo on it.

If you have experienced any side effects, whether you are sure it is Splenda or not, be sure to speak with your physician and discuss all possibilities.
