Splenda Chat

Coming soon... a Splenda chatroom where you discuss the benefits and drawbacks of sucralose consumption with other Splenda users.

On 13 July 2005, we received this note from D. concerning their use of sucralose.
"I'm glad I read the ingredients on labeling on an actual package of Splenda before giving it to my husband. The dextrose and maltodextrin in Splenda (sucralose) are derived from corn, and this is a serious issue for people (like my husband) who have an allergy to corn.

If you pick up a soft drink using this product, it will simply say "sucralose" or, perhaps, "Splenda," but there is no mention of the corn component."

Thank you D. for sharing your story with our visitors.

If you have experienced any side effects, whether you are sure it is Splenda or not, be sure to speak with your physician and discuss all possibilities.
