| Another Splenda Story submitted by a visitor |

| On 13 July 2005, we received this note from M.V. in Connecticut concerning their use of sucralose. |

| "I've had problems on and off for years with bad headaches--not migraines--but quite bad. I have never been one to diet, but I have always tried to drink diet soda rather than regular to save a few calories.
I recently started drinking a sucralose-sweetened water drink at work and developed a headache within minutes. Thinking it was a regular stress headache (although I wasn't stressed), I took two headache pills and finished the water. My headache was gone in about 20 minutes. Great! The pills worked. Right? Later that evening, I started drinking another one of the waters and developed a headache within two minutes. I realized it could be the water, so I stopped drinking it immediately. My headache went away within five minutes. Coincidence? I think not! I have decided to stop all artificial sweeteners and see if I feel better in general. Wish me luck!" Thank you M.V. for sharing your story with our visitors. |
