On 22 June 2005, we received this note from M. concerning their use of sucralose.

"I drank a 20-ounce Diet Coke with Splenda in it when WalMart sold them for $.50. The regular drinks were $1.09 each, so I thought I'd save a little money.

Well, the next day, my wife and I had diarrhea and stomach cramps. We just thought a bug did it. One week later, we bought Diet Coke with Splenda again and both got diarrhea and stomach cramps. We only bought the 20-ounce bottles and each drank one, not a six-pack.

One week later, my wife bought some ice cream with Splenda in it. We had the same reactions again.

I will never use Splenda again. Look it up on the web and you won't either!"
