| Another Splenda Story submitted by a visitor |

| On 15 November 2005, we received this note from B.M. concerning their use of sucralose. |

| "A couple of years ago, I started using Splenda intermittently in the so-called "fitness drinks." A few months later, I went on the South Beach Diet and, after moving into Phase II, I decided to try some of the Atkins ice cream bars.
I was okay for a week or so until, one day, I ate one and then drove to the grocery store. When I got there, I started feeling weird and sick--headachy, dizzy, faint. I thought "could this be what a stroke feels like?" I thought I was going to have to call my husband to come and get me, but I was able to drag myself home and onto the couch. I gave up the Splenda immediately. I had been alert to the possibilities of a reaction because a number of years ago, I had a nasty reaction to aspartame. It amazes me that after all of the documented problems with that sweetener, another has hit the market despite obvious issues. I guess we just want to have our cake and eat it, too!" Thank you B.M. for sharing your story with our visitors. |

| If you have experienced any side effects, whether you are sure it is Splenda or not, be sure to speak with your physician and discuss all possibilities. . |
