On 18 October 2005, we received this note from D.J.L. concerning their use of sucralose.

"I had recently had a reduction in my sex drive to about once every week or two. I didn't think about it until I went on vacation. I just assumed I was getting older and just had other things on my mind.

While on vacation in Hawaii, I didn't have Splenda, much to my dismay. I bought regular sodas (I drink about 5-6 a day). I noticed, within a few days, that my sex drive was kicked into high gear and so did my wife. Since then, I now believe that it was the Splenda that caused the loss. I'm cutting it out completely!"
