| Another Splenda Story submitted by a visitor |

| On 11 October 2005, we received this note from J. concerning their use of sucralose. |

| "About a year ago, I tried food products containing Splenda (sucralose) and had an immediate headache and symptoms that felt like motion sickness. My stomach was upset. I felt dizzy, confused, and irritable. My headache lasted for hours.
I have some of these same symptoms from aspartame, as well, and I avoid aspartame completely. I stopped using all of the products with Splenda, but was encouraged by a diet doctor to try them again. Once again, I felt ill almost immediately. This doctor and most other people look at me like I'm crazy when I tell them how artificial sweeteners affect me. I have no other allergies and, if my reaction to aspartame or sucralose was mild or tolerable, I would probably use them to avoid the calories. However, my reaction is unbearable and I can hardly function after consuming artificial sweeteners. I am so sensitive that I can taste it in gum, mints, and drink mixes. I am relieved to know that I'm not crazy! Thank you." Thank you J. for sharing your story with our visitors. |

| If you have experienced any side effects, whether you are sure it is Splenda or not, be sure to speak with your physician and discuss all possibilities. . |
