| On 5 January 2006, we received this note from D.S. of Charleston, SC, concerning their use of sucralose. |
|||||||||||||||||||||
| "I am not sure if my symptoms are sucralose related, but I have been using a whey protein product to assist in my work-outs since I do not eat chicken or red meat.
Since I started using the new product, I have been experiencing stomach problems such as cramping, bloating, and gas. I have just made the connection today and will keep you posted now that I have stopped using the product." On 12 January 2006, we received an updated from D.S.: "I quit using the product and, two days later, all was well. I am sure it was the sucralose. I am just mad that the manufacturer did not give a clearer indication of it on the label. It took a friend reading the ingredients to spot the sucralose." Thank you D.S. for sharing your story with our visitors. |
