| "Trying. Trying again. Still, the same reaction!
I consumed a candy that contained Splenda. I ate it as a snack before I boarded a 2-hour flight. What a mistake! I was so embarassed because about an hour into the flight, I was in the bathroom passing gas. I didn't want to come out and put that kind of burden on the people sitting around me. Every once in a while, I forget that I have to stay away from Splenda. Today, I had a no-sugar-added pieceof banana nut bread from Starbucks. I didn't ask if it had Splenda. But, unfortunately, it did. I sat in my office all afternoon passing gas. I was embarassed that someone from my office would smell it, so I lit a candle. I'm not sure if that helped, but I have finally learned my lesson. I would love to know the scientific reasons for this happening. My friend is an RN and says I'm crazy. She hasn't been around me when it's happened. Maybe I should invite her over for the experience! Thanks for helping me feel that I'm not crazy." Thank you D.R. for sharing your story with our visitors. |

| If you have experienced any side effects, whether you are sure it is Splenda or not, be sure to speak with your physician and discuss all possibilities. . |
