| On 4 April 2006, we received this note from G.B. concerning their use of sucralose. |

| "I ate a bag of low-fat microwave kettle corn for dinner one night. I began to feel extremely dizzy, flushed in the face, and severely short of breath. My dizziness was so bad I couldn't even stand up. The entire episode ended with a lingering bad headache.
I had no idea what would have cause this untul I look at the bag of popcorn. The only additive other than oil and popcorn was sucralose. I think the fact that I ate the popcorn on an empty stomach probably intensified the effects. I tried eating the same popcorn another time and I had a similar reaction, but not nearly as severe. I am convinced it is the sucralose. Other foods with sucralose have also given me headaches. No more for me, thanks." Thank you G.B. for sharing your story with our visitors. |
