On 4 April 2006, we received this note from D. in Massachusetts concerning their use of sucralose.
"I am on a low-sugar, low-carb diet. In an effort to reduce my calorie and sugar intake, I eliminated soda, replacing it with flavored waters like Fruit 2-0 and others. Now, you have to understand, I was a heavy soda drinker prior to starting the diet. Yesterday, I consumed six 20-oz Fruit 2-0s over the course of the day. I thought, "Hey! No calories! That has to work!"

Sure enough. Last night I had explosive diarrhea, couldn't sleep much, and this morning and all day, I have had horrible stomach pains.  At one point, I felt like I was going to pass out today.  I woke up this morning with a migraine.

I'm done with Splenda.  I bought a box of stevia this morning.
