| On 24 March 2006, we received this note from L.L. concerning their use of sucralose. |

| "About a month ago, I started using Splenda instead of other artificial sweeteners. I thought it would be a more "natural" substitute which additionally tasted closer to real sugar. What I started noticing were some gastrointestinal issues including both upper and lower GI spasming and pain. I originally thought that I was experiencing the pain because of all the colds and flus going around. However, I recently broke out in a rash and finally into welts. That's when I realized that there was something else going on. I did some research and discovered that several sites show other people who have experienced the same effects.
As with all people, different things affect their bodies in different ways. So this information may be useful to others who have noticed a change in their health after using Splenda." Thank you L.L. for sharing your story with our visitors. |

| If you have experienced any side effects, whether you are sure it is Splenda or not, be sure to speak with your physician and discuss all possibilities. . |
