| On 2 March 2006, we received this note from P.P. concerning their use of sucralose. |

| "Thank God I found you!
I thought I was literally losing my mind here. The last couple of weeks, I began to notice a huge change in my mood and general sense of well-being. I didn't understand what was going on. I am very aware of my emotional well-being and leave nothing to chance. So, I went back in time trying to understand what brought this about. The only change in my life was in my diet. I bought a great big bag of Splenda. I use it seven times a day in my tea and coffee. I almost ended my two-year marriage to the most wonderful woman in the world. The mood swings, dark moods, and thoughts of suicide were rampant. I'm glad it's not me who is going nuts. I will update you with how I feel going cold turkey over the next two weeks. Thanks again!" On 5 March 2006, we received a follow-up from P.P.: "Thanks for writing me back. It has been three days since I stopped using Splenda with my coffee and tea. I feel 300% better. If you want me to wait a bit more, I will. I can tell you that I've never, ever felt this way before, and now that I've stopped using the stuff, I feel like myself again." Thank you P.P. for sharing your story with our visitors. |
