Splenda Chat

Coming soon... a Splenda chatroom where you discuss the benefits and drawbacks of sucralose consumption with other Splenda users.

On 2 June 2006, we received this note from Anonymous concerning their use of sucralose.
"I have only tried Splenda on occasion, but every time I tried it I had the following symptoms:
  • stabbing headaches 4-6 hours after consuming Splenda (I tend to have headaches from aspartame and MSG, as well.)
  • strange searing pain in my back especially near my kidneys, sometimes within an hour or the next day
  • aching internal organs feeling like my liver is having trouble (never had this before using sucralose)
  • anxiety attack the next day complete with heart fluttering feeling and trouble breathing (never had this before either)

I hope they pull Splenda off the market completely.  There is no way chlorinated sugar is safe or healthy with so many people getting sick from this poison."

Thank you Anonymous for sharing your story with our visitors.

If you have experienced any side effects, whether you are sure it is Splenda or not, be sure to speak with your physician and discuss all possibilities.
